What I love about Stefani's book is that she explores women's health from a holistic perspective instead of just focusing on the nutrition piece.
In other words, this is NOT a diet book (thank goodness!)
While she does include a section in her book highlighting which foods to eat and which foods to avoid for optimal health, the majority of the book goes beyond nutrition and explores other areas such as lifestyle (e.g. sleep, stress, exercise, etc.), female-specific health issues (e.g. PMS, libido, fertility, menopause, energy, mental health, etc.) and self-love.
Stefani addresses all of these aspects of health in a simple - yet thorough - 5 step program. I like how each chapter is laid out and the steps are easy to implement, not overwhelming. Her writing is down-to-earth, honest, and easy to understand and she does a wonderful job of inspiring and empowering readers to be the best versions of themselves that they can be.
Stefani will help you strengthen your relationship with food, the relationship you have with yourself, and will help you gain a better understanding of what being "sexy" really means. Her unique voice is refreshing and much-needed in our "looks-obsessed" culture.
